Family Meeting – March 9th

Join Us for Our Next Family Meeting!
We’re gathering as a church family on Sunday, March 9th, at 6 PM, and we’d love for you to be there. This is an important time to come together to:

  • Hear exciting updates and vision for Mosaic’s future.

  • Vote on a new elder candidate, Andy Perlman (bio below).

  • Review and vote on updates to our bylaws.

Bylaw Changes

You can review the proposed bylaw changes below to prepare for the meeting.

Our Elder Candidate

Andy and Sarah Perlman grew up in Southwest Littleton.  The high-school sweethearts have been married for 20 years and have 3 kids.  Their oldest Silas is a junior in high-school and loves music (he listens to more music on Spotify than 99.5% of all people), Caleb is in 8th grade and loves the outdoors with a particular affinity for mushroom hunting, and Mirielle is in 6th grade and loves to dance, read and sing.

The Perlmans started attending Belleview Community Church in 2011 (which later merged with The Rock/Mosaic).  Currently, Sarah, Caleb and Miri serve in Kidmo, Silas assists with the stage lighting on Sundays and Andy and Sarah help lead a life group with Sean and Lindsay Blaney.  Andy also helps to lead a young men’s Bible study.

Andy has served several terms as an elder at Mosaic and has recently taken a couple years away from serving on the board.

For his day-to-day job Andy works for a small healthcare research group doing data analytics and Sarah is a 6th grade Social Studies teacher at Summit Ridge Middle School.

The Perlmans love being outdoors and traveling and Andy has a particular passion for fly fishing.

This is an opportunity to celebrate what God is doing at Mosaic and move forward together in faith and unity. Don’t miss it!

BAPTISM SUNDAY | MARCH 9TH

Step Into New Life
At Mosaic, we believe that baptism is a sacred and joyful step toward experiencing the wholeness that only Jesus can provide. It’s a public declaration of faith that symbolizes being made new—moving from brokenness to renewal, from isolation to belonging, and from aimlessness to a life of purpose.

When you choose baptism, you’re declaring that Jesus has transformed your life and you’re ready to embrace the new identity He gives you. Whether you’re just beginning your faith journey or have recently made the decision to follow Jesus, this is your next step toward spiritual growth.

Why Baptism Matters

  • Transformation: Baptism reflects the inward transformation that happens when you give your life to Jesus.

  • Community: It’s a moment to celebrate with others who are on their own journeys toward wholeness.

  • Purpose: Baptism is part of stepping into your role in God’s redemptive plan, living a life of meaning and mission.

What to Expect

Our baptism services are designed to be a celebration of the new life you’re stepping into. You’ll share your decision, be baptized in front of the Mosaic family, and experience the joy of taking this meaningful step with others.

Join Us on March 9th

Ready to take this next step in your faith journey? Our next baptism service will be on March 9th, and we would love to celebrate with you.

Operation Christmas Child

  • Mosaic: A Jesus-Centered Community (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

At Mosaic, we share what we've found not just in our local community but throughout the world. One of the ways we do that is through Operation Christmas Child. This annual project gives us the opportunity to fill shoeboxes with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and the gospel message, sharing the love of Christ with children across the globe.

Every shoebox gift is an opportunity for children to experience the love of Christ and the joy of Christmas, no matter where they are. Here’s how you can be part of this global outreach effort:

Key Dates:

  • Collection Period: November 10th – November 24th

  • Drop off your filled shoeboxes at Mosaic anytime during these dates. We'll handle the rest!

How to Get Involved:

  1. Pack a Shoebox
Fill a shoebox with small toys, personal care items, and school supplies for a child in need. Each box will also include the gospel, bringing not just gifts but the good news of Jesus. Don’t forget to include a personal note of encouragement!

  2. Drop Off Your Shoebox
Bring your filled shoebox to Mosaic during our collection period, from November 10th through November 24th, and we’ll ensure it reaches a child in need. You can also track your shoebox to see where it goes!

  3. Pray for the Children
Join us in praying for the children who will receive these gifts. Your prayers can make a profound difference as these children experience God’s love through this simple act of kindness.

Thank you for partnering with us in this meaningful effort to spread the love and joy of Christmas around the world.

Escape Retreat Update

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Escape 2024 has been canceled. A wildfire in Divide, Colorado, has impacted the area surrounding Golden Bell Camp. Fortunately, the camp’s buildings were not damaged, but ongoing fires and visible smoke in the area have led the camp’s staff to prioritize safety and cancel all events for the upcoming weekend.

While we know this is disappointing news, we’re currently exploring options for an alternate one- or two-day event to replace this retreat experience. We’ll provide updates as soon as possible and are also working on logistics for refunds.

In the meantime, please keep Golden Bell and the Divide area in your prayers. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to help and support you through this change. Thank you for your understanding, and stay tuned for more details on a potential replacement event!
