You weren’t meant to do life alone

At Mosaic, Life Groups are small communities where real connection happens. In a world that often leaves us feeling isolated or overwhelmed, Life Groups offer a space to belong, to be encouraged, and to grow—together. Whether you're exploring faith for the first time or looking to deepen your journey, these groups are a place to ask honest questions, build meaningful relationships, and experience the kind of support we all need.

Life Groups are how we grow in friendship, faith, and purpose—together.

Life Groups at Mosaic are one of the primary ways we help people live a Jesus-centered life. Our groups are not about perfection—they’re about real people pursuing wholeness, healing, and purpose together in Jesus. Life Groups create space to connect, grow, and live life on mission in the context of community.

We know life can feel disconnected—and following Jesus wasn’t meant to happen alone. In a Life Group, you’ll find support, growth, and people who want to walk with you in faith.

What you can expect

Find Friendship

Transformation happens in the context of relationships. Life Groups are where you’ll find Jesus-centered friends who walk with you through the highs and lows. These are the people who’ll pray with you, challenge you, and remind you of what’s true.

Grow Together

Saying yes to Jesus is the beginning. Life Groups give you a place to explore Scripture, ask honest questions, and walk in community as you grow into who God made you to be.

Bless Others

Life Groups don’t exist just for us—they're a way we join God’s mission. Every group is invited to serve and bring hope to others through acts of kindness, hospitality, and courage.

where do i start?

Don’t wait to find the connection you’ve been looking for!

At Mosaic, we offer two kinds of groups to help you find the right fit:

Interest Groups – These are short-term or seasonal groups centered around common interests, activities, or life stages. Whether it’s a hiking group, parenting study, disc golf crew, or off-roading adventure, Interest Groups are a great way to connect with others through shared passions.

Life Groups – These are ongoing small groups that meet regularly in homes or on campus. They focus on building relationships and spiritual growth through conversation and encouragement.

 Start a Group

Great groups start with people who are willing to create space for others. If you have a heart for building community, we’d love to help you start and lead a group. You don’t need to be a Bible expert—just someone who wants to invite others in, facilitate conversation, and create a welcoming environment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

+ What does a Life Group look like?

A Life Group is a small gathering of people who meet regularly to build friendship, grow in faith, and live on mission together. Some groups study the Bible, others share meals or serve the community—but all Life Groups center around Jesus and support each other in real life.

+ What does a Life Group leader do?

Life Group leaders create space for others to connect, grow, and live out their faith. They’re not Bible experts—they’re facilitators, friends, and guides who help cultivate honest conversation and community. We support each leader every step of the way.

+ What if I can’t find a group that fits my schedule?

We’ll do our best to help you connect with a group that works for your availability—or even help you start one with a few others.

Can I join a group if I’m new to faith or new to Mosaic?

Absolutely. Life Groups are a safe place to ask questions, build friendships, and explore faith no matter where you're starting from.

+ Are Life Groups kid-friendly?

Some groups are kid-friendly and have an option for kids while the group meets. You can check group details or contact us to find one that works for your family.

+ Do I need to bring anything?

Just yourself. Some groups might read a book or use the Bible, but you’ll get all the info you need from the group leader.

+ How often do Life Groups meet?

Most Life Groups meet weekly or every other week, but each group sets its own rhythm. The goal is consistent connection that fits into real life.

+ Do I have to be a Christian?

Not at all. Life Groups are open to anyone who’s curious, questioning, or just looking for connection. You don’t need to have it all figured out—we’re all learning and growing together.

+ How long is the typical group commitment?

We encourage groups to commit to meeting together for a season (10–12 weeks) with the option to continue if it’s a good fit.

+ What if I want to start a group?

We’d love to help you take that step. We’ll provide training, resources, and ongoing support to walk with you as you lead.
