Baptism is an outward expression of the inward transformation that has happened in your heart. While you were once broken, you have been made new in Christ.  It is a public declaration that you have chosen Jesus as the leader of your life. 

"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; the new has come." - 1 Corinthians 5:17
