Become the Worship Leader God Is Shaping You to Be.

You know God has given you a passion for worship. You love leading people toward Jesus, but you also know there’s still room to grow.

The Worship Leader Residency at Mosaic is a one-year ministry experience designed to help emerging worship leaders deepen their relationship with Jesus, develop their leadership, and gain hands-on ministry experience in a healthy, Jesus-centered church.

If you’re looking for more than a place to play music, we’d love to help you discover what God has next.

    Why Mosaic?

At Mosaic, we believe worship is more than music. It’s an invitation for people to encounter Jesus and experience the life He offers.

That’s why this residency isn’t just about becoming a better musician. It’s about becoming the kind of leader whose character, humility, and love for Jesus shape every time they step on a platform.

You’ll be mentored by experienced ministry leaders, serve alongside an incredible team, and grow in an environment that values discipleship just as much as excellence.

    What You’ll Experience

Throughout the year, you’ll have opportunities to:

    • Lead worship during weekend gatherings alongside experienced leaders.
    • Help plan worship services and creative elements.
    • Receive weekly coaching and intentional discipleship.
    • Grow in musical excellence and leadership.
    • Invest in volunteers by encouraging and developing worship team members.
    • Collaborate with pastors, musicians, and production teams.
    • Participate in worship nights, special events, and creative ministry projects.

    What You’ll Be Developing

This residency is designed to help you grow in every area of ministry.

By the end of the year, you’ll have experience in:

    • Leading worship with greater confidence and authenticity.
    • Planning meaningful worship experiences.
    • Building healthy teams and leading volunteers.
    • Receiving and applying coaching and feedback.
    • Growing spiritually as a disciple whose leadership flows from a healthy relationship with Jesus.

    Who We’re Looking For

This residency could be a great fit if you:

    • Love Jesus and desire to help others worship Him.
    • Have experience leading worship vocally or instrumentally.
    • Are humble, teachable, and eager to grow.
    • Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
    • Communicate well and follow through on commitments.
    • Can serve on weekends and embrace Mosaic’s mission and values.

Previous worship-leading experience in a church or ministry setting is preferred but not required.

    What You’ll Receive

    • $15,600 annual stipend
    • Weekly coaching and spiritual mentoring
    • Intentional leadership development
    • Hands-on ministry experience
    • Exposure to worship, creative arts, production, and pastoral leadership
    • A personalized development plan designed around your strengths and areas of growth

    What Success Looks Like

After one year, you’ll leave with more than ministry experience.

You’ll have grown deeper in your relationship with Jesus, developed practical leadership skills, built meaningful relationships with mentors and teammates, and gained the confidence to faithfully lead wherever God calls you next.

Ready to Take Your Next Step?

God often shapes leaders through ordinary moments of faithfulness.

If you’re eager to grow, willing to learn, and excited to help others encounter Jesus through worship, we’d love to start a conversation with you.
